According to WASC, the Educational Effectiveness Review “invite[s] sustained engagement by the institutional on the extent to which the institution fulfills its educational objectives.” For more information about the purposes of this review, see the WASC Handbook of Accreditation.

UCLA has chosen to focus its Educational Effectiveness Review on three special themes:

1. UCLA's Capstone Initiative
2. Using Educational Technology to Enhance Learning and Teaching
3. Academic Planning for 2019 and Beyond
